Returns Policy

At Ruraloutlet, we deal in fresh fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products that are perishable in nature. Therefore, returns are accepted only for defective or damaged products.

Returns are eligible only in the following cases:

  • The product is delivered in damaged or spoiled condition.
  • The wrong product is delivered.
  • Items are missing from the order.
  • The product is unfit for consumption or use at the time of delivery.

Return request window:

  • Return requests must be raised within 6 hours of delivery.
  • Requests raised after 6 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

Proof required:

  • Clear photos or videos of the product.
  • Photos of the packaging condition.
  • Order ID or invoice details.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Minor size, weight, color, shape, or appearance variations.
  • Natural variations commonly found in agricultural produce.
  • Market price changes after placing the order.
  • Delays caused by logistics, weather, traffic, public holidays, or other external factors.

Once the return request is reviewed and approved, the refund will be processed within 3 to 7 business days. Refunds may be credited to the original payment method or to the Ruraloutlet wallet, based on the payment mode and operational feasibility.

Exchange Policy

Ruraloutlet allows exchanges only in limited cases because most products sold on the platform are fresh and perishable agricultural products.

Exchange is allowed only in the following cases:

  • The wrong product is delivered.
  • The product is delivered in completely damaged or spoiled condition.
  • A replacement is required for an approved defective product complaint.

Exchange request window:

  • Exchange requests must be raised within 6 hours of delivery.
  • Requests raised after 6 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

Exchange conditions:

  • Exchange is subject to availability of replacement stock.
  • Replacement will be delivered in the next available delivery cycle.
  • If replacement stock is not available, Ruraloutlet may process a refund instead.

Exchange will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Minor size, weight, color, shape, or appearance variations.
  • Natural variations commonly found in fresh agricultural produce.
  • Market price changes after placing the order.
  • Products that have been used, consumed, mixed, repacked, or stored improperly after delivery.

Customers are advised to inspect the products at the time of delivery. Any issue must be reported immediately with clear photos or videos, order ID, and invoice details.
